It has been announced that Carrie Coon (Gone Girl, Fargo) will be playing a villain in Avengers: Infinity War.
During an interview with Radio Times, Avengers: Infinity War co-director Joe Russo revealed that Carrie Coon is portraying Proxima Midnight, a member of the Black Order. Her weapon of choice is spear made with blades from a star.
In addition, Anthony Russo confirmed the castings of other Black Order members. Terry Notary plays Cull Obsidian while Tom Vaughan-Lawlor is Ebony Maw. However, the actor onboard as Corvus Glaive has yet to be revealed.

This isn’t the first time the Fargo star has used motion capture. She’s done work on video games that include Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Wolverine.
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on Apr. 27, 2018. The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a script from Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
